If my liver and kidneys already filter out toxins, why would I need to detox with Zeolite?
We sat down with Zeolite expert Micah Portney (from ZEO HEALTH) to pose the question and others that our readers ask most.
ONE WORD: OVERBURDEN
"Our bodies are constantly exposed and bombarded by toxins and heavy metals," says Portney. "There’s chemicals in carpets, there’s chemicals in new cars ... chemicals in everything."
"So while the body can detoxify itself to a certain level, the overburden that's happened with the amount that we're exposed to is tremendous."
It's hard to get rid of all the toxins naturally
Toxins and heavy metals are stored in our fat cells, which the body has a lot of trouble removing. Zeolite itself, being a volcanic mineral with a negative charge, actually will use that charge to pull the toxins and heavy metals out of the cells like a magnet—and then trap it in the cage structure to remove it from the body through defecating and urinating.
"It just flows out. Zeolite, stays in the body 6 to 8 hours and then it's just gone."
